New products are developed in close connection with end customers. We are being recognized as development supplier. Products are developed according to the basic customer specification, using such approach of cooperation we can offer to customer products with the most optimal characteristic taking into account optimal price. For shorter lead time from idea to product, parallel engineering and project managemend according to ISO/TS16949 standard is being used .

Developing a new product is a lengthy process that starts with a conversation where you can give us more information on what your needs are. It is the part of the procces where we define who the product will be intended for, how it will be marketed, and determine all of the other parameters, such as whether the product will be of natural origin or whether it will also contain chemical elements. This is followed by making a sample where you check the structure, lubricity, absorbency and other defining properties. Based on your comments and feedback, the product is finished and thus the appropriate product can be finally manufactured. In the last phase, the color in the scent of the product are determined.

During development we will work closely with you, guide you through the complete development process, and once your product is developed, we will produce it in our factory. Product development consists of technical specification and requirements definition, architecture definition, BOM optimization, HW, SW and mechanical designs, electric and thermal simulations, optics simulation and design, functional tests, end of line test equipment design, highly accelerated lifetime tests and packaging design. Design processes follow known project management standards.

We provide complete R&R (reworking and refurbishment) services for forging pieces based on your drawings, taking into careful consideration your specific requirements and the forging principles that must be adhered to. All Iskra antennas are optimized for best signals reception in the frequency band for which they are intended. A major feature of the antennas we produce is that they all have a built-in type »F« female connector for simple installation of the coaxial cable to the antenna. Antennas are constructed with aluminium alloy type EN AW 3005 (AlMn1Mg0, 5) H165, which has high mechanical strength and resistance to the most adverse weather & temperature variations throughout the world. All metal parts are made from hot galvanized steel that is corrosion resistant and plastic components are made of plastic which is UV resistant ensuring quality and longevity of the product. Antennas are individually packaged into PVC bags, some having a cardboard header with technical instructions for in store placement & visual product promotion. We can also supply antennas that are packaged in the individual printed or plain cardboard boxes.

Due to the nature of the vacuum insulation panel (VIP) design and manufacturing process it is challenging to verify VIP quality both during and after production with regards to the vacuum level in the manufactured VIPs. Furthermore, it is even more challenging to monitor VIP vacuum level after installation, and over the lifecycle of a VIP. As VIP’s thermal isolation performance is directly correlated with VIP’s vacuum level, such monitoring is crucial for ongoing panel performance and quality evaluation. To address these challenges we have developed a low-cost, contactless sensor Stripres® for measuring vacuum levels in VIPs, both during the manufacturing process and over the course of a VIP’s lifetime. Stripres® sensor is designed to be permanently installed into VIPs during panel production, and subsequently allows for vacuum measurement at any time and almost any place, thanks to contactless measurement process.

Our expertise lies in the meticulous development of tooling for both steel and aluminum forgings, ensuring that the need for post-processing of the pieces is minimized. By perfecting the tooling process, we strive to deliver forgings of exceptional quality with minimal additional work required. Moreover, we offer valuable recommendations to our clients regarding potential alterations to the forging piece aimed at reducing costs without compromising on quality. Our goal is to optimize both the piece and the die to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Having a highly skilled development department allows us to compete for financing from funds. We have concluded an agreement with the Public Agency for Entrepreneurship, Internationalization, Foreign Investments and Technology on co-funding the project Smart solar LED light: Bringing together solar energy and advanced, easy-to-use and efficient light solutions (SSLL). The project will be funded by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. Find out more about Slovenia’s cohesion policy at www.eu-skladi.si. The main purpose of the SSLL project is developing a smart solar LED light. The final product will be a solar light with integrated controls. The system, which will support intelligent regulation, will use an advanced battery charging mode that will significantly improve the charging efficiency and prolong the product’s useful life. The product will represent a new chapter.

Strip’s is design for manufacturing oriented. With the experience in APQP/PPAP all projects are coordinated with standardized reviews and the predictable project flow. Tools such as DFMEA enable us to analyse manufacturability in early stage of development and consequently reduce product costs. If required, we will take full care of individual product certification. This is taken into consideration already during the development phase, which leads to quicker and easier product certification process. As EMS provider Strip’s is using broad set of test methods and test equipment and we have knowledge and experience for consistently ensuring high quality levels.

The main objective of the project is the development of an innovative affinity-based system for blood cell separation. Project is co-financed by the Slovenian Research Agency. Our company acts as a co-financier and a participating research organization. Research field: Biotechnical sciences – biotechnology, Medical and health sciences – medical biotechnology Duration of the project: 1.7.2019 – 30.6.2021 Participating research organizations are University of Maribor- Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor- Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

The main purpose of the SNIOL project is to develop a smart node for Internet of Lights systems that can be integrated into smart lights i.e. developing an innovative optical sensor (based on the IP camera technology), and effectively and uniquely integrating it into LED lights. We will also develop and integrate into the system original innovative algorithms for processing the images and for connecting the lights, the monitoring system and the internet.
